Warranty

Painters Parramatta provides this warranty (the “Warranty”) to the original purchaser (the “Customer”) of painting services.

  1. Warranty Coverage
The Painter warrants that all painting services they provide will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months from the project’s completion date (the “Warranty Period”).

  2. Scope of Warranty
The Warranty covers any defects arising from the normal use of the painted surface. This includes, but is not limited to, peeling, blistering, cracking, or colour fading that occurs under normal conditions and when the Customer has properly maintained the paint.

  3. Exclusions
The Warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from the following:
  • Improper or inadequate surface preparation carried out by the Customer or any third party.
  • Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or transportation by the Customer or any third party.
  • Exposure to extreme environmental conditions beyond normal conditions, such as excessive heat, cold, humidity, or moisture.
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, negligence, or acts of God, including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters.
  • Any alterations or modifications made to the painted surface by the Customer or any third party without the written consent of the Painter.
  • Any previous repairs or touch-ups made by the Customer or any third party.
  1. Obligations of the Painter
During the Warranty Period, the Painter shall, at their sole discretion, repair or replace any defective painting work or materials covered. The Painter reserves the right to inspect the claimed defect before proceeding with any repairs or replacements. If the same colour or material is unavailable, the Painter will provide a suitable alternative.

  2. Obligations of the Customer
The Customer shall promptly notify the Painter of any potential defects covered by the Warranty by providing written notice within 30 days of discovering the issue. The Customer must allow the Painter reasonable access to the painted surface for inspection and repairs. Upon request, the Customer shall also provide proof of original purchase and any maintenance records.

  3. Transferability
This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the painting services provided by the Painter. It shall not be valid if the property changes ownership during the Warranty Period.

  4. Limitation of Liability
The liability of the Painter under this Warranty shall be limited to the costs of repairing or replacing the defective painting work or materials. The Painter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the painted surface, even if the Painter has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed under the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Parramatta, NSW.

  6. Entire Agreement
This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the Painter and the Customer and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements, whether written or oral, regarding the subject matter covered.
